Well... I had a meeting. There's an old air force base. Not huge, not in great condition. It's getting decommissioned, but Joaquin's and my Air Force contacts know I've been looking to set up a base of operations. We're tryna figure out if we can pool resources, buy the property up. Set up official space for doing... well, Cap stuff, I suppose. Get a little hub running.

It was just so out of no where! lol. And that's fine by me I figured toward the start of F&TWS
[Bucky gave him a squeeze before letting go and trudging back to the door to hang up his coat and take his boots off. (Which was new, for a while Bucky wouldn't leave shoes off in case someone came for him.) He helps Sam lay out the food then settles at the table.]
I've got money banked from backpay, I could pitch in.
[Bucky wasn't filthy rich, but between the trials to exonerate him and the public sympathy toward him, the army had paid out the backpay pretty well - too much pressure not to.]
